A coordinated manufacturing process (CMP)

Our manufacturing effort is integrated and coordinated with engineering in an effort to precisely adhere to engineering design specifications.  Ace Precision Castings CMP is designed to produce a quality product at the lowest possible cost through the implementation of a plant Operation Scheduling System and computer-aide manufacturing (CAM) technology.

Our manufacturing control system provides a means of planning, executing and reporting that effectively improves plant operation through coordination of manpower, machinery and materials. Our computerized scheduling system compliments the operating system by enabling the planning department to better control the flow of work through the production areas and to relate this product flow to the crewing available to produce the work.  Both of these systems are knitted into a computerized communication network that continually monitors each order, providing us with the ability to react quickly so we are able to give our customers quality products when they need them. 

Integral to CMP is the use of a centrally monitored TAKT timer system. All major processes are actively monitored and reviewed within the shift to drive process improvement.  Communicating with the customers is made simple. Full EDI Systems are installed, allowing effortless electronic flow data between our customers and us. To complete the sale transaction, we are ready to receive funds through electronic transfer.  Bar coding is used on all packing which simplifies the receiving at the customer's facilities. Returnable packaging is frequently used and our engineering staff is always ready to help customers decide the design and feasibility of returnables for each specific situation.

Ace is currently involved in certification programs with companies representing various industries. On-site survey teams from these companies have examined our internal quality controls and manufacturing processes and have found them to be among the best in the industry. This excellence in process control assures Ace Precision customers of quality parts ready for their assembly line.

Our Just-In-Time (JIT) program gives us the capability to produce and to deliver your required quantities at the scheduled time, with the objective of achieving strict performance to schedule. Our JIT program gives us higher productivity and lower inventories. This efficiency means that Ace customers pay less for their castings. As a member of Electronic Data Interchange we can link with your computer allowing instant communication of your scheduling requirements. When suitable, we will identify shipments by bar coding to save you time and paperwork in processing your incoming shipments.
